Vision
Context
According to UNESCO, agriculture is the backbone of Uganda's economy, employing over 70% of the workforce and contributing significantly to GDP. However, small-scale farmers face numerous challenges, including limited access to quality inputs, poor market linkages, inadequate financial services, and low levels of technology adoption. These issues hinder productivity and profitability, perpetuating a cycle of poverty.
Opportunity
The competitive landscape includes traditional agricultural co-operatives, suppliers, and emerging agri-tech solutions. However, most existing solutions do not provide a comprehensive, integrated approach that combines bulk buying, financial services, and digital marketplaces. We aim to fill this gap by offering a holistic solution that addresses multiple pain points for farmers.
